The Motorway (called M1: Keeping Britain Moving in the guide) - 03/02/20 @9PM on CH5 showing as S1E2 - should be S1E4 (also yesterday’s episode 3 didn’t record, I assume due to the same problem of incorrect episode numbers).
Inside No 9 - Monday 03/02/20 @ 10PM on BBC2 showing as S4E7 - should be S5E1.
On the plus side - a new series of the brilliant Inside No 9 to look forward to!
I’ve just had to reschedule a series link recording for the 3rd time (there are only 6 espisode in the series…). Radio 4 extra, Undone - screenshot from my DVR schedule shows that the two exact same schedules, one working, one not.
The episode numbers are all over the place and it makes it such a pain to manage. 8 out of 10 cats does countdown was wrong last night and the worst witch is wrong too
Yep, 8 out of 10 cats does countdown was configured as S19E03 when it should have been S19E04… Plex decided not to record it as it thought I already had it!!!
It’s on again tonight on 47, but has the wrong episode on there too!!!
Was about to say the same thing happened here too. At least it currently has the correct S19 E05 for next week.
…I am really trying to be positive, but this is a complete disaster and it should be about time Plex admit defeat and do something positive about it.
9 months and we haven’t even had a hint of an apology yet, no chance of a U turn.
Well there have been many apologies to my parents for making them move to Plex as a DVR. Worked perfectly for a while when using Gracenote!!!
The guide has updated and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Ep 5, which is on Ch4/4HD at 2100 on 7 Feb, is now showing as S19E04, so won’t record either!
Should have kept my fingers off the keyboard! 
Thank goodness for Channels DVR. I’ve given up on using Plex DVR for now, even if Channels does cost about a fiver a month, it has none of these issues & worth every penny. PS. I believe they use gracenote, maybe Plex should have stuck with them too.
I have the feeling Gracenote was more expensive than what they have now… But this is just my impression. Why would you drop a working provider if not for the price…
The reason can’t be better quality, right? 
I mean even whole countries were cut off when switching, so it can’t be better coverage either.
Great… so it was correct and now it isn’t. Don’t think confidence can get any lower. You can’t even rely on checking it’s correct and feel confident it’s going to record cause the next day it could be wrong!!!
@sa2000 This got changed to S5E18, then changed to the airings’ date so it then appeared on my schedule. Overnight on my server has changed back to S5E18 so isn’t scheduled anymore. Going to have to rename a file on my server, so it gets scheduled again like always.
Should’ve been S5E19. Seems to always been one episode number behind. Next episode is on the 10th February, which hopefully might be correct!

Traffic Cops - 005 105 06/02/2020 @ 9PM - current S5E19 and marked as NEW. But other sources show it as Traffic Cops: Under Attack. So not sure if this is actually meant to be showing as S5E19 which is airing NEW today but the EPG data is wrong for that as mentioned above. This whole series is probably a mess still probably because of Channel 5. as we’ve discussed previously.
