This has been changed. An EPG refresh will show it as “Sky News At Nine”

I am following this up at our end
Thanks
Just checked and all looking good now
I should have mentioned that I’m on Freesat South.
I have referred the issue with a few episode number discrepancies and original airdates to our provider.
I think there are episode number errors for two more airings
| channel Title | Date | Time | Sn En | title |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 010 ITV3 | 2020-Mar-07 | 12:55 | S9 E5 | Vixen’s Run |

| 010 ITV3 | 2020-Mar-11 | 15:55 | S10 E3 | The Animal Within |
Thank you. I can see that sequencing is out by 2. I am referring this to our provider
TYVM for looking into this. I hadn’t noticed the other two, but agree that they’re incorrect. I appreciate all your work on the ongoing issues.
STV OTA Freeview | Ch 014 Film4 | Thu 12 Mar
The one might get fixed as guide data refreshes nearer the time, but ‘The Odessa File’ is on Film4 on Thu 12 March at 1620: https://www.channel4.com/tv-guide/2020/03/12
Plex Guide has ‘The Cassandra Crossing’ showing in this slot
Yes - I can see an update to this in the next ingestion file that we will process tonight. So an EPG refresh sometime tomorrow morning ought to correct this. If not, let me know
The episode numbers for “This Country” have been corrected. An EPG refresh would pick the corrections
“The Odessa File” now shows on Film4 for 12 March at 16:20
An EPG refresh would pick the update
Hi, new to Plex and this forum. Wish I’d seen all this before I tried out Plex DVR. Been using tvheadend with KODI for a couple of years with great results. No program guide issues that I remember. But wanted to switch from KODI to Plex becaue I now have NVidia Shield TV.
In Tvheadend, I can create my own channel lists. I’m in Cornwall (Caradogon transmitter) and lots of channels are non-standard frequencies. So I just modified an existing list of channels, using widely available Freeview channel data) and it works a treat. With Plex, there is no South West channel set, so I used the entire UK set, and don’t get any HD channels. Is there any way I can create my own channel list in Plex - or can the support people please create one for the Caradogan Hill transmitter? Otherwise, I have no option but to cancel my plex pass and go back to tvheadend.
The “DVB-T/T2 UK (Full frequency range)” scans all possible frequencies within the UK including any used by your local transmitter.
All frequencies are scanned including + and - 167 KHz offsets
We have not updated local transmitter frequencies because of the continuous change that has been taking place for 5G. Once all the changes stop, then we will look into the local transmitter scanners. But the full UK one does everything - it is slow because we have higher timeout periods
If you are referring to the scan lineups then not getting HD is to do with the tuner / transmitter since the scanning is done for the whole UK frequency range
Is this Hauppauge WinTV tuner or an old HD Homerun eg HD Homerun Dual as in the screenshot I posted. This old tuner does not handle T2 so HD channels would not be picked up.
Once you scanned the frequencies and got a set of tuner channels, then you would select the Freeview West Country OTA Broadcast guide which covers Cornwall for EPG data
Hi, yes I figured that out and did use the Freeview West settings. I have 136 radio and tv channels showing, 62 enabled, but none of them are HD. E.g. BBC One shows as channel 2, but there is no channel 101.
I have 3 tuners but so far have only enabled one of them. I’ll try the other two just ni case they pop up with more - but I’m not expecting that.
You can also use the tuner app to scan channels and see if that is any different
What is the tuner make / model?
These are Magica tuners which are in the unsupported group. I’m trying them because they worked fine on tvheadend, getting all HD channels. Perhaps there is some sort of linux driver problem where the HD channels are not being allowed through, so I’ll look for that. I’m using the same raspberry PI 3 that I used for the tvheadend. However, I am using the latest version of raspbian for Plex whereas I was using one that was a couple of years old for the tvheadend. I’ve now got all three tuners set up and they are all showing 136 channels detected - none HD.
These have been referred to our provider.

Neighbours currently has a lunchtime and evening episode all this week. All are showing up in guide, all show as new, but only the lunchtime one is recording - can this be fixed?
Let me have server logs captured soon after the end of the evening episode. I will see if it thinks it already has the episode.
