New Plex Guide Very Poor in UK

I misread your post. Ignore. I am looking at the EPG data

The BBC2 12:15 is wrong. I have referred this to our server team. It should show as 02:15

BBC1 joining BBC news looks ok.

Thank you, Are they also investigating the +1 channels?

Also, Film4 is showing as finishing 12:15. Should have The Descent from 11:20 to 02:15, Table 19 from 02:15 to 03:55.

With many +1 channels can you please be more specific as to where you noticed the errors and when

I have noticed it on both Channel 4+1 and E4+1 . They both have this message during the time that the clock changes.

The program data has these entries on the main channels as well - I have referred these to our provider. I would expect these to get replaced - I suspect they are placeholders that would get updated closer the time

How were the ‘start year’ worked out? e.g. The Chase did start in 2006, not 2009?

Channel Logos are now in place for the following channels

The following also have channel logos now - but they currently do not distinguish HD / +1

Others are still being reviewed

This has been fixed

I can confirm that “Danger Mouse” is now recording with the correct year in its filename. Not sure about “Would I Lie to You?” yet as only a repeat has been shown since but I had already recorded that.

However, I have another one to report

It would seem that “Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny” had its Start Year changed from 2018 to 2019 for a couple of episodes I recorded back in December (S01E06 and S01E07) whereas the rest of Series 1 recorded using 2018 as the Start Year.

I appreciate this is for past recordings but the current guide shows repeat showings with 2019 as the Start Year rather than 2018:

Kung Fu Panda - PoD

Both The TV DB and IMDB recon 2018 was the Start Year.

Indeed. BBC2 still wrong but probably a bit tight getting that one fixed now.

Andrew Marr - this morning 09:00 BBC1 SCOTLAND HD

Been showing as finishing at 10:15 for days now on Digiguide.

As per usual, Plex rubbish guide still shows it finishing at the usual 10:00.

Everything at least between 09:00 and 13:00 today is wrong on this channel - and beyond.

I wanted to record a Politics Scotland special at 14:30-15:15 today - can’t do that though can I?

Updated the guide manually last night - all these changes have been known for a few days now.

Unreliable as per normal.

Tried to record Old School on BBC1 last night, but ended up with 40 minutes of a repeat of Extras at the start and the recording ending before the film finished, brought about by the last minute addition of Match Of The Day by the looks of it.

TV Schedules up in the air at the moment obviously due to the current situation, but other providers appear much better at handling these last minute changes.

I am sorry but there were a combination of factors here. Some of these errors have actually been corrected but we have not yet been able to pick the new data.

I have flagged the discrepancies that are wrong in the schedule to our provider.

Plex Guide still not updated to reflect new broadcast schedule for Neighbours (was confused when it said it had recorded then started playing NCIS!). It’s all updated on the Channel 5 website, not sure how long it takes the provider to recognise the change? I’ve already tried an guide refresh but to no avail.

Trying to record this evenings documentary “George Best: All By Himself” on BBC4.

If I try to record the 10PM showing, Plex automatically schedules the 2:10AM showing tomorrow morning instead?

If I specifically set the recording to 10PM in the advanced section, it then says “No upcoming airings” and won’t record it.

I can’t see any reason why it would choose to do that? :confounded:

Actually the programme is on at 9PM, the drop down for recording specific times lists 10PM and 3.10AM so are 1 hour ahead?

Is your server still running with the pre Day Light Saving change ?

It is showing ok for me

Check the time zone on the server and see if it is wrong
