You might be right
To me it just makes inconsistencies
For episodes with a S/E, this relates back to the original airing, so if we are using dates instead of this, the date should refer to originally aired also

Well, decided to give it ONE LAST CHANCE.
And, oh, Andrew Marr, tomorrow, scheduled for 9:00 to 10:10 - not on Plex guide itâs not - 09:00-10:00 - so recording that will miss the last 10 minutes.
UTTER RUBBISH.
âThe Truth About Amazonâ on Ch4 tonight at 21:00⊠going to be an interesting âFILMâ!!!
Donât know how that could have got categorised incorrectly⊠Going to have to remember to go into my Films to watch it

This may be a bit too late for tomorrowâs showing but the last couple of showings over the last few weeks have also been wrong as well, as I recorded it⊠Fortunately I hadnât seen the sequel so the recording wasnât wasted
032: Sony Movies Channel: 22nd April: 16:55 - Charlieâs Angels
This should be Charlieâs Angels: Full Throttle.
The Freeview guide is advertising it correctly:
Yep. I noticed that.

I think itâs deliberate, as Iâve recorded a lot of documentaries and they will only save to my âMoviesâ library.
If they are not repeatedly aired with multiple episodes (=a tv show) then they are considered a movie.
That would be fine, but you should be allowed to override the default and pick any library when setting it to record, so you can at least change it so itâs not your movie collection.
You can: copy/move the files to your tv show folder. Problem is you wonât get it matched anywhere.
Apologies if this has been reported already - Killing Eve (BBC Scotland HD) on Sunday 26th April is showing as S03E03 - its actually S03E02âŠ
Screenshots of the BBC schedule attached.
Itâs also not labelled as âNewâ.
Iâm showing it with the correct episode number now S3 E2 (but still not marked as new).
Some more issues the upcoming airings of Danger Mouse (2015). The Plex Guide shows:

According to the BBCâs Guide the showings tomorrow and on Saturday should be:
S1 : E19
S2 : E8

Edit:
Iâve just noticed that all showings from Sunday (and all of next week) are listed as â4/6/19 - Sinister Mouseâ and as such donât show up in the above âupcoming showsâ screenshot. For example: Next Thursday:

We finally got to a point where sequencing and new indicator is correct for Midsomer Murders on ITV and ITV3. I had been referring it back to our provider whilst seeing discrepancies but looks ok now and agrees with what is in Radio Times TV Listings
5 USA, Freeview 21, Monday 27th April, 21:00 - this is showing a repeat episode of NCIS instead of the one reported in other guides, S15E01.
Further to this, another missing airing from Wed @sa2000 - only realised when I started watching todayâs recording an realised something had been skipped. Looked on My 5 and it was Mon/Wed/Fri episodes this week (probably as theyâve restarted filming in Oz). Why didnât the provider pick this up?
Resurrecting an old comment here if I may - why is the epg still so poor? I am still seeing âradio programmingâ against Kiss this evening and the Dinotrux listings on Tiny Pop are not correct overnight. Is there actually a game plan here because it appears to me that Plex has not desire to actually provide a decent DVR service themselves? Also I think someone has pointed this out, why on earth is Plex sending out mails shots broadcasting how good the service is when quite clearly it is not.
I have already flagged to our provider that channel 5 group of channels were showing previous week guide data rolled forward.
Apparently they did not receive any data and the process rolled forward previous week
It is debatable as to what would be better
and I am sure we can argue this both ways
This may be the issue I mentioned of previous weekâs data rolled forward
