Thank you - I recall seeing that type of error before!
I have referred it to our provider.
This is already outstanding with our provider. I will ask for an update

Are there any updates on the issues I saw (as reported above) with âThe Mummyâ (2017) ?
I see it is showing again today in 45 minutes at 22:00 on 5 Star (Channel 030), but again Plex doesnât want to record it as I have a recording of âThe Mummyâ (1999).
If I move the file for the 1999 version and delete it from Plexâs library then tonightâs showing is recognised and shows up in DVR Recordings.
Iâm also seeing an odd issue with tonightâs episode of âSchooledâ on E4 (Channel 013) and E4 + 1 (Channel 041):

I donât know if there are two seperate issues here and whether they are guide or Plex for Windows issues but here goes:
a) The showing from E4 (20:30 to 21:00) recorded successfully but shows up in the DVR Recordings as the E4 + 1 showing (21:30 to 22:00) - which is due to start in 6 minutes.
b) Should the E4 + 1 episode have the âNewâ tag as technical it is a repeat - or is that expected behaviour?
It appears we are ignoring the year when searching the library. I will discuss with the development team
DVRâFreeview Central (East) OTA Broadcast
Killing Eve
BBC 1 AT 9:15PM on 10/05/20
Iâm not seeing episode numbers (just date) or any episode description/info: just generic show info (see second image too). It should show S03E04
DVRâFreeview Central (East) OTA Broadcast
Gardenersâ World
BBC2 @ 8:30PM 8/5/20
The episode description is generic.
Here is Channels app version with an episode description:
@sa2000 Neighbours is still broken - didnât record on Friday. Any update from the listings provider as to whatâs going on? It has been consistently Mon/Wed/Fri how so Iâm at a bit of loss to understand why they canât get this sorted out?
Looking forward to TBA⊠sounds like a good film.
Is there any update on what is actually happening development wise, or are we just hoping the guide provider is at some point going to get it right⊠Iâm not holding my breath.
Channel 5 today has King Kong (2005 version) on for an hour from 12:25 followed by a 5 minute break then Along Came Polly starts.
While iâm at it, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Weâre the Millers, and Home Alone 2 were all set to record yesterday and didnât. They are in the schedule for later in the week but when I select the later date, they still came up as in yesterdayâs schedule, despite me cancelling the recording and re-selecting.
This is never going to ever work is it? If weâre still this screwed after a year thereâs little hope that it will ever be right unless Plex makes a fundamental switch to a reliable provider.

Todayâs BBC 1 lineup is wrong because of the two âNews Specialâ from 7pm to 7:45PM that Plex doesnât show in its guide.

Here is the Plex guide data vs the Freeview data: TV Guide | Freeview
Try a manual refresh. Mine refreshed this morning and the schedule is correct.
I am having problems trying to record Sherlock Holmes (2009) on ITV2 (Channel 006) this evening.
It was scheduled for 20:00 to 21:05, 5 minute news break, then continued 21:10 to 22:40.
It is also repeated on ITV2 + 1 (Channel 027) for 21:00 to 22:05, 5 minute news break, then continued 22:10 to 23:40.
As we know, with the 5 minute news break, Plex wonât record the whole film so using the well documented âhackâ, I modified the recording by adding 95 minutes after end in the Advanced Settings to compensate. However, my woes didnât end there!!
When I do this, DVR Recordings shows as recording the second half on ITV2 + 1 from 22:10 to 23:40. Unfortunately, I didnât notice this until after 20:00 when I saw Plex wasnât recording.
Fortunately, I have a second opportunity with the showing on ITV2 + 1 - playing around with this over the last 30 minutes has shown me that 85 minutes and less leaves the showing at 21:00 but 86 and above moves the recording to the second half at 22:10 as can be seen from the screenshots below:
85 Minutes Added:
86 Minutes Added:
How am I supposed to record this showing as 85 minutes is going to cut off the last 10 minutes and as we have seen 95 is not going to record the first half?
This thread is near on a year old and we are still having the same old issues! When are these problems going to be resolved?
I wonder if Plex alternatives can handle this? Iâve not researched but may emby or channels handle it better.
My last feedback on this issue is here UK Freeview EPG - #99 by sa2000
I do not have any more information at this stage
I think it appears that channel 5 have issues with their schedules anyway
See the gap from 12:25 to 16:00
The Freeview TV guide has the correct Channel 5 listings so itâs correct somewhere.
We do have an outstanding issue with Plex Web where it may display wrong airing in the schedule. We need to wait for this to be fixed and then see if there are still discrepancies. I have added the above example to the issue
All the +1 channels behave that way. I think that is right - they are time shifted so one can think of these channels as replicas an hour later
That is interesting and has been mentioned to our provider before - but it does not help the situation
To find out why a recording did not happen, I would need logs covering the time of start of airing (in case logs wrap round quickly) and also- logs a few minutes after the end of airing (if it did record but not save the file)
Four Weddings and a Funeral was in the schedule on the 9th May for 21:00 on Film 4 and again at 22:00 on Film 4+1
Oh well, far too busy to be extracting logs from anywhere. Letâs hope it doesnât happen again (again).
