Hi, There should be premier league football listed on pick today starting at 5pm but this is not listed on the guide. It is listed on my HD homerun tv guide though. Have manually refreshed and deleted and recreated guide. Unfortunately this is still not appearing. Thanks
Just to confirm this is also shown as āLive FNF: Norwich v Southamptonā at 5pm on Pick on the Freeview over-the-air guide.
If I may give my best guess here:
Plex have paid for an inferior guide service and are stuck with it - and therefore so are we.
Unless they pull the plug on this useless guide provider then this thread will just keep getting bigger and bigger.

It would be nice to hear from plex on this though - they have been officially silent on improvement plans for the last year and so I believe there is no solution and this train-crash will continue for the length of the contract (2,3,5 years?)
Well I can imagine why they donāt want to communicate internals like contract details and surely they will not admit that their business part produces trash. No company will do publicly.
And you also donāt know how much of this trouble is induced by the āingestion processā that runs on the Plex sideā¦
I am not asking for contract details.
I just want to know that Plex does recognise the problem and associated customer dissatisfaction; that there is a plan beyond the whac-a-mole game to address it. If not, they would still earn more respect from me by saying ā sorry - we screwed this up - weāve tried to make it better but it isnāt. You need to use XML whilst we address it ā (or similar).
Plexās silence does not inspire confidence, especially as they actively advertise the EPG as part of Plex Pass.
Elan said (not a quote) that the EPG is better for some and worse for others (he refused to expand on that) but the problem may be limited to certain TV areas (Europe, some US States ā¦not really sure).
If you remember, Plex canned the EPG in Australia and NZ last summer, but those guys still have to pay the same (Plex pass) price for the DVR and live TV. I assume this was done because the TiVo does not operate in these areas. My point being, it is not as if Plex have an issue with not providing an EPGā¦
btw, many companies will admit a major problem and also communicate their efforts to address it (but it is also true that many do not).
The data for PICK TV came in todayās files from our provider - I will follow up the state of the ingestion of this data and I am hoping that ingestion will complete and cache cleared and you have the ability to refresh the guide before the time
It appears that not all EPGs have it yet - i know that freeview does

That was quick ā¦ the ingestion has just completed and all that is needed now is for cache to clear at Cloudflare - so give it a couple of hours and do an EPG refresh and let me know

This isnāt showing as new so Plex missed the first episode, Iāve now set it to record all showings. Sadly I canāt see a repeat of E01 to record again.
I have reported and monitored over a number of days - they are being corrected but each time only next sort of 2 days
Why do you think it is new. Is there anywhere on the channel 5 web site you can point to where it says these episodes are new?
What I found is that they appear to be repeats of 2018 episodes

It looks like this issue is back again, as the showing of Charlieās Angles on Monday 22nd June at 16:55 on Sony Movies (Channel 032) should, according to the Freeview Guide, be Charlieās Angles: Full Throttle as well.
I donāt mean to sounds flippant but is there any update on this - it is just a channel logo after all ?
There is also no channel logo for CCX TV (Channel 023) and Hochanda (Channel 085) which are showing CCTV and HOCH text respectively.
