Could this be the issue that was resolved a few days ago whete a number of channeks got dropped and after they came back,it was necessary to manually re- enable the channels ?
Nothing major to report with the channel mappings after redoing under Freeview London OTA Broadcast, @sa2000. However…
The F1 scheduling for this weekend has completely vanished as multiple hours of Channel 4 schedules have been replaced with “Channel 4 Programming” blocks - one on Sunday is almost 18 hours long (this I believe was also the case with the previous DVR set up based on the photos I took of my schedule to reconstruct from, as the F1 events had disappeared from DVR Schedule).
I thought your issue was due to the EPG channel which did disappear for a few days
There are two sets of channels - tuner channels and EPG channels
So what you are saying is the channel BBC 4 HD does not appear on the left side channel list - the DVR tuned channels . Is that rigth?
What DVR is it ? Make / Model.
What options do you have for scanning ?
If it is a Hauppauge then you would have the list for transmitters and you should use the UK Full Frequency range for the scan
If it is an HD Homerun DVR then the scanning will be passed to the HD Homerun to do.
Does the channel appear in the HD Homerun app or WinTV app if Hauppauge ? and does it tune?
The channel recently moved from COM8 to COM7
Do you receive other COM7 channels eg 96 Forces TV, 114 Quest HD
Hauppage. I had previously scanned the London frequency, now re-scanned to full. BBC4 HD does not appear as a Device Channel but is in the drop down as an EPG channel.
On your advice, I went to the Hauppage app and re-scanned. BBC4 HD found in list of channels but comes up as No Signal. I guess that means the issue is local?
The local transmitters frequencies I am afraid are out of date. Waiting for all the changes for 5G to finish before updating those. So only use Full UK Frequency Range
Now, following my latest refresh, I have no programming data for Sony Movies, ITV+1, Channel 4 + 1 from Saturday / Sunday. There may be other channels.
You could discuss that with Hauppauge - may be it is an old tuner that cannot handle COM7 ? I do have an old HD Homerun that does not pick up any HD channels.
