Did you do a manual EPG refresh through server settings for Live TV and DVR and allow that to complete? I can’t see what you have on your screenshot
I had done a refresh; just checked this morning and the Unknown Airings have now shifted to MON starting from around 01:00.
Just did another manual refresh:

Now the EPG seems to be showing all programmes even beyond MON.
Yesterday, I hadn’t done a manual EPG refresh, but I had rebooted my Mac mini and noticed that Plex was doing a refresh already when I checked. This morning, I did a manual refresh.
Ah … I had assumed you had a standard Terrestrial OTA setup using your regional UK Freeview lineup.
Is this a satellite setup then?
I will look into it - almost all UK investigations and fixes have been for OTA / Terrestrial
I will replicate your EPG setup. Post Code ?
Thanks @sa2000 - my postcode area is GU34
EPG is looking good at the moment. I can see programme details up to SAT morning in a week.
@sa2000 - how many days should we actually see in the EPG?
This was caused by a data ingestion issue at our provider and was noticed and investigated before we flagged it to them on Tuesday 20th August. The corrected data was ingested at our end in the morning of the 21st August and was available to users before my post of the 21st August New Plex Guide Very Poor in UK - #123 by sa2000
@sa2000 Thanks. Was the ingestion issue an automated thing or a manual thing? I am trying to understand how likely this will reoccur.
It was a failure of automated jobs that ingest data and the failure was detected and actions taken to investigate abd correct. I do not have any more information than that
Hi thanks, that’s all I needed to know (that it was an automated failure) as they can be fixed permanently. cheers.
Yes that caused me some confusion too initially!
Overall it looks like things are getting there - I see some shows now showing ‘New’ which they didn’t show before and over the last couple of days have not had the double-recording instances too, not sure if these are related to software updates or guide data improvements.
This came up before and the conclusion was that this was already covered because there is an actual example of the expected syntax showing up within the box.
Good to hear - thanks for the feedback
Ah OK - I can’t recall but I think it might disappear when you start to type in it? Not a major issue but perhaps either it could be more flexible what it accepts or show error rather than just leave ‘continue’ unable to be clicked?
I agree - it does look a lot better (even for me using a satellite tuner).
It’s slowly getting better but for some reason today West Yorkshire UK is showing blocks of “BBC Scotland Programming” - on channel 077 which is named “TCC” - whatever it is it’s nothing to do with either the BBC or Scotland, that’s for sure!
Much more worrying is the problem with (mostly) the Channel 4 and ITV bouquets, they frequently break films into two parts with a five minute “fluff piece” in the middle, Plex marks both parts of the film with the record icon but only records the first half as presumably the second half has exactly the same PG entry and is counted as a duplicate, I can manually get around this by tweaking the finish over-run to be the length of the fluff piece plus the second half but it’s a pain to do, my old Freeview box had a setting for a maximum number of minutes to look ahead after the end of a program to see if it continued, surely that’s not rocket science to implement?
Upcoming Movies in UK freeview is still rubbish and broken
Issues over EPG have been going on for something like 2 months now - its getting ludicrous
Forget about new apps and tie ups with movie companies PLEASE get these basics corrected
Rant over
See pick below for my upcoming movies - EPG is littered with items which are listed as movies but are not movies. About 40% of the items listed are not movies
Is anyone else still having issues with ‘to be announced’, generic ‘radio programming’ and the odd channel without epg data to map with? I’m using Freeview Yorkshire OTA Broadcast lineup which looks like it still needs work Plex?
There is work in progress for some of them. Others have started to have data. Please specify which ones are impacting you.
