Are you sure about this one - being one of the ones on the “Upcoming Movies” hub? It is showing as Episode and not Movie in my EPG
@paulplexOK - actually i can see that this was initially a category movie and is now not. If you refresh the guide, it should change
Thanks sa2000. Is there an underlying reason for the inaccuracies or is this a one-off manual correction for this instance?
I am not sure. I have asked our provider if there is a common cause
Hold The Sunset on BBC1 is messed up again.
The airing on Friday at 8:30pm should be S2 E06 but in Plex it recorded last Fridays episode in a 2019 folder and has this weeks episode as S2 E05.

Considering this has been fixed before I sadly don’t hold much hope that the new provider is trying to improve the guide data for UK users and will merely react to complaints submitted to them.
I must say I find it a bit worrying how widespread the issues are and the way they seem to be fixing them one by one. I’m very grateful to @sa2000 for his tireless work in this regard but it does seem there’s something more fundamental that the listings provider needs to address. Would it be possible to get some detail on this?
By comparison, Monzo (an app-based bank) had a major issue recently. They wrote the below blog, clearly lots of detail that was too much for some, but in general it was extremely well received and showed clear transparency in their processes. I’d love something similar from Plex re this long-running issue with UK EPG data.
It’s not only UK. And I find it cumbersome to say the least to let the users iron out the flaws of the EPG. I mean should I literally report every show I am interested in, which is wrongly displayed? This can’t be true… This is un-usable and holds me back from using the feature at all.
This has just got fixed by our provider. It should feed through in the next 24-48 hours.
It has been escalated and processes are being looked into to avoid and minimize the chances of such errors repeating.
It does seem quite incredible that 2 months after the change of provider from Gracenote to apparently Tivo these issues are still in existence
Is this really Tivo that are involved ?. The guide says Powered by Plex - before it said powered by Gracenote
If I were Tivo I would not want to be associated with the shambles that is this EPG
I note that Virgin in UK supply Tivo boxes and having spoken to a few friends who have the Virgin Tivo boxes they do not seem to have any of the issues we are currently having with Plex
Surly if Tivo provide EPG to their own kit and it works OK it should work OK with Plex as well ?! - Assuming Tivo are indeed the provider
I am very grateful to sa2000 for all the work done in getting these issues fixed but clearly there is something fundamental broken here - and only sa2000 seems to making any attempt to fix
I wish Plex HQ would step up and finally fix this once and for all
It worked fine before the change - as I mentioned on another post, temporally scrap this rubbish provider and go cap in hand to the previous provider in the short term so at least we get an EPG that functions - Leave Plex staff with this alpha EPG until is ready for primetime
I hate to keep ranting on this but I have paid good hard earned money for Plex and I love it when it worked - but currently feel let down by the sorry implementation of this new EPG

This has been reported. It is because of the separate program entry for “5* Access” and results in 3 EPG entries with the movie split into 2 airings one before the 5* Access and one after.
it is being looked into to come up with a solution. Until then you have the “not proper fix” option you mentioned
That is the same issue as the 5Star channel. It is the “5* Access” airing that is causing the problem. It is being looked into
Strictly Come Dancing is still showing as S16 E26 after a couple of guide refreshes - did this definitely get fixed sa2000?
It should be fixed - showing for me as S17 E1 for 7th September at 19:10 on BBC1
When did you do a manual EPG refresh and allow it to complete to the end?
MY plex live has stopped working completely. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it sticks on the EPG download (zero%) and will not progress.

The HDHomeRUN app is fine so its an issue between Plex and HDHomerun
The Bill on Drama channel in the UK not showing from 9th Sept.
Have carried out a few manual refreshes and checked Drama schedule on their website to confirm.
I can see The Bill showing on channel 20 Drama up to September 13th. My full epg refresh was yesterday at 15:00 - when did you do a refresh last ? Could you get me a screenshot of the grid for Drama for 11am for 12th and 13th
May need to look at your EPG database and logs if issue remains
I forgot to ask - what Plex client app and if the same on several apps
