Nothing works, when will we get a fix?

After the recently required update for the downgrade in the guide the functionality is as poor as it was in the December disaster. Can’t tune to channels most times, if you can it takes forever, guide data is no longer episode based, time shifting still does not work and basically the entire system is unusable.

I guess you see your users as Beta tester??? When will this crap be fixed? It’s as bad if not worse than the disaster you created in December.

PMS 1.16.1 is Beta. Have you tried removing and re-adding your DVR. It’s possible the migration from the old system to the new did not work well for you.

Have you tried reading all the threads? Perhaps your software does not work well for most. I see numerous people who tried the “remove the DVR” and report that does NOT fix anything.

Try fixing your software or at least testing it before you release it.

Before you do, try suggestions 2 and 3 from that post.

  1. If during the program guide migration we were not able to match your channel lineup, you may need to rebuild your DVR. Go to the Live TV & DVR settings in the Plex Web App and setup your DVR again .
  2. Lastly, try a manual EPG refresh by going to the Live TV & DVR settings in the Plex Web App and click Refresh Guide .

This has nothing to do with matching stations or anything like that. Do you not read all these posts? The data provided is insufficient.

I should have been clearer. I was referring to this specific issue you brought up. I am aware of the other issues and there is a lot of work going on to improve those things.

And I was VERY specific. As MANY have reported, the “new” guide data is insufficient. It describes the PROGRAM and not the EPISODE as it should.
