No, you can just type the absolute path in that field. You don’t have to click “/”. The buttons arrayed on the left are simply for easier navigation. The guy who marked your answer correct even said he simply forgot to mount the media.
Go get yourself a different distro Plex Media Server v1.41.0.8992-8463ad060 - Linux Mint PC x86_64 - build: linux-x86_64 debian Mint has known issues.
I will also note that the logs you provided wont give all of the needed information, which is why I asked you to follow the server log knowledge article instructions, and not cherry pick logs.

Plex is on my NAS server and not on my LM machine, and that is where the logs are from, my Plex on my NAS

Plex does not work correctly under mint’s permissions

hang on, I’ll look into this because I downloaded the logs from Plex on my NAS server
Ok,I uninstalled Plex from my NAS and re installed, and also checked my LM system for plex. Yes it was installed many months or so ago and I forgot about it, So apologies for saying ot wasn’t installed on LM
Now when I go to add a folder for my media, I get a list of folders which are the TrueNAS folders.
When I click on either the mnt or media folder, there is nothing there, but when I open the data folder, there is a list of films. Is this the right folder then .
I also have all my TV programs showing in Plex, again in the Data folder of my NAS
Anyway here are the log files as previously requested, and I hope they are the right ones, As I have it working now , they may not be needed.
I suspect that you were confusing the mint and NAS locations, and having 2 installs you where mixing up which is which. If you have any additional issues please let us know.

Well not exactly getting confused , but I forgot I had plex on my mint machine.
Then when I loaded the webGUI for plex on my NAS, it was plex on mint which loaded. How that could happen, I don’t know.
But on the other hand you could be right??

You can have multiple servers on one account. So you may have been editing one server while thinking you were editing another.
