Plex having trouble gathering metadata from daily shows only

Server Version#: 1.20.4.3517 on Debian 10

Recently plex stopped gathering metadata for daily shows(colbert, noah, meyers etc.), other shows work fine. It looks like this:

Things I have tried so far:

  • Plex Dance
  • Restart Plexmediaserver
  • Cleared Cache
  • Refreshed Metadata on showlvl, seasonlvl and the episodes itself

Please advise.

The same thing has been happening to me since the last server update.

That seems like a core functionality is broken.
Is support understaffed/overwhelmed currently? The lack of response is concerning.

@Orko that’s not really the best way to get a response… Furthermore if you check the original thread you’ll see that there’s already been a reply and acknowledgement of the problem and a forthcoming fix… Plex having trouble gathering metadata from daily shows only

That’s not an answer. I have been waiting, no reply, as you can see.

Also I am not checking other threads daily for a response. As a paying customer one can at least expect an acknowledgement, don’t you think? I am not even sure if it’s the same problem. Maybe, maybe not, the initial post does not suggest so, your’s does. That’s what the support is usually for.

Instead of shoving an unwanted streaming service down our throats why not shove some support down there as well. Just an idea.

I’m sorry you can’t be arsed to read. I see the source of your problem. The issue has been acknowledge if, again, you bothered to read the thread I linked you to.

I don’t work for Plex and no one here is obligated, (or will even want to help you), with your current attitude so take a chill pill.

Maybe try understanding what i wrote before being a toxic ass, that help no one other than yourself feeling smug.
