1.13.4 is both PlexPass and Public release.
Do you have any older version SPK (installation) files laying around you can try?
If not, I’ll go get some and post the link to it . I do unfortunately need to sleep. I have a meeting in 6 hours

Pinhorn runs 1.12.2.4929 hence the issue is also with previous versions…
Can not give info on Public version. I only run the PlexPass version.
I tried installing an SPK from January and got the same errors.
thank you, didn’t spot that.
That means it’s PMS. I need to talk to engineering when they wake.
I wish I could do more but can’t. Sorry that you guys will be down overnight
Just take some rest. This is not a life or death matter
(BTW, at my place, it is 09:36 AM
)
I can wait also…seems like less work on my end to wait for a fix…Thanks for checking.
Please gather your logs manually (Create a ZIP of the Logs directory in the Plex share) and attach it here. I’m sending a message to the team member who pulls the crash reports. He’ll get what he needs from your log files and pull the crash reports. With that data, he’ll have most, if not all, of what’s needed to fix this ASAP
I think the Logs are empty. Where is that directory specifically?
sh-4.3# pwd
/volume1/Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server
sh-4.3# ls -l
total 0
drwx------+ 1 plex users 126 Jul 17 23:11 Crash Reports
drwx------+ 1 plex users 18 Jul 17 23:07 Plug-in Support
sh-4.3#
There is no logs directory in that location. It appears to not have been created after I did the fresh install attempt
As PMS does not start far no log is created for me as well. Last logs are from the stopping of PMS on the time of DSM update
Glad to help…I will check for any info updates in this chain tomorrow…thx again.
I am running Plex 1.13.4.5251 on a 1817+ running DSM 6.2-23739 Update 1
It is not my main server .
After reading this post I stopped Plex then did the new update.
Restarted Plex and no problem !
Hence seems not linked to the arch of 1515+ (Avoton x64, like for 1817+). But the error is weird because normally it indicates that the thread pool is exhausted; but it is unlikely (cat /proc/sys/kernel/threads-max gives 47183 threads)
Yes, I updated my post… A “not” was missing at the beginning (and I am not POTUS
)
Just to add my details in case it’s important. I just installed DSM 6.2-23739 Update 2 on a DS415+ running 1.13.4.5251 and Plex will now not start (I didn’t check this thread before installing, lesson learned!)
Hi all, just came here to add that i’m also having the same issue. Mainly reply so i get notifications about any potential fixes
