Please go check the Plex shared folder.
We’re looking to confirm you have a full, valid, “Plex Media Server” directory under “Library / Application Support”
It must contain
- Preferences.xml – likely last accessed/modified on the day you upgraded.
- Media – with a bunch of files there (separated by type)
- Metadata – siimilar to Media
3.“Plug-in Support/Databases” - which contains your databases and their backups
If all that exists, we’re in good shape

Stop Plex

Uninstall + ERASE the DSM 7 package

It will take a bit but not more than a few extra seconds.

Please also be advised - This version is not backward compatible with Production. You can’t go backwards – HOWEVER, Production will be updating to his very shortly so you won’t be “Stuck on this version” for long
