thanks to @HomeMediaServer2018 & @ChuckPa for this information, version 1 23 4 47 works well.
that’s because I trust the Plex interface rather than going to the plex site
best regards
can be but the Plex interface only offered me
Knowing that my version before was PlexMediaServer-1.23.2.4600-f06057b33-aarch64_DSM7
the question is why the interface prepose me the public( PlexMediaServer-1.23.3.4707-ebb5fe9f3-aarch64_DSM7) version rather than (Myckey’s dog sorry for the joke) the plex pass version
I have been lurking here for a few hours. I use my Synology NAS as a family Plex server. I foolishly updated to the DS7 release candidate. It has been a nightmare for me. Previously I did succeed in making it work using my two TV (LG & Sansung) Plex apps. I totally lost playback function on my two Nvidia shields. 1.23.4.4712 has me up and running again on both my shields. THANK YOU CHUCK PA!!!
Do you really need to use docker in a ds920+ to get tone mapping support using hw transcoding? I thought it would be the same if I install the official Plex pass versions I download from this site.
