I changed browser and now it loads: °), I changed the permissions and installed. But now, if I try to log in, it says “you don’t have access to this server”
which server? Plex? DSM ?

If it’s Plex, did you complete the DSM 6 migration instructions to transfer your server or is it trying to setup a new server under DSM 7?
The DSM 6 migration is very clear in showing you that it completed properly --OR-- what work you have yet to complete.

I have been able to install Plex on DSM 7 successfully, but I initially couldn’t access any media because I didn’t complete step 7 “Repeat steps 2-6 for each share you want Plex Media Server to access”. I initially only applied it to the listed folder…
Looking at some of the feedback here, I am guessing that some folks have missed that step as well.
My advise: Be patient. Follow each step and you will be successful.
I also wanted to share one observation: While my DSM SMB performance seems to have slightly increased, I found that my Android TV’s player performance seems to have slightly degraded (some video stuttering). That said, everything still plays fine on Kodi.
This is a functionality beta.
DSM in beta state means any sense of performance measurement is moot.
We will have a much better metric when it is “Release Candidate” status.

Are you installing:
- The DSM 6 package on DSM 7
-or- - The DSM 7 package on DSM 6
“Invalid format” is the message Package Center prints when the DSM version does not match.
It will say “Incompatible” when the file is not for this host.
To DSM 7 preview ==> DSM 7 beta
try a different browser to download?

I suspect you were downloading from the Downloads page???
If you were, those are for DSM 6 only.
The only packages for DSM 7 have DSM7 in their name.
