I’ve been trying and trying and trying to troubleshoot and solve this same problem, but to no avail. I’ve been through forums, Reddit, etc.
We’re unable to securely connect remotely, but we’re able to connect locally in the house.
Could you check to see if there’s an issue with my cert?
Otto hoping you can look at me as well. Restarted and tried some other solutions but still stuck in can’t connect securely from web app or apple tv but phone and local address work
Remote access going from red to green until i retry. But if i leave the page it goes red again. Please check.

I have reset the certs of all affected users in this thread so far.

Maybe take a look at Important note about Chrome and Firefox Local Network Access
and do also compare the hosted web app with the local web app.
Ensure that you are not on an old server version between 1.41.7.x to 1.42.0.x

I am having the same issue. I was sharing access to my sister and she was fine until yesterday. Now all my libraries are unavailable to her (I have a Lifetime Plex Pass). I am running my Plex on an old MacPro and am stuck on an older version of Plex (Version 1.29.0.6244). When I try enabling Remote Access is flashes Enabled before changing back to “Not available outside of your network”. Any ideas what may be happening or how to fix it?
P.S. - I just bought a new QNAP and will be migrating my server to it but would love to get the Remote Access issue fixed.

Any idea what else it may be? Everything works fine on my local LAN, just keep getting this “Unable to connect to “Syn720_01” securely.” when trying to enable remote access. Nothing on my network has changed, and I have made no changes to the NAS.
