Thank you so much, everything is smooth and working correctly now
I’m having this issue can you check mine please
[mod edit: You are not affected by the stuck cert issue.]
Hey - I too am having the “cannot connect to ____ securely” error. Are you able to check mine please? Thank you
Hi Seems I also have the same Issue
I wonder if I might have a stuck certificate as well, noticing remote clients unable to get a secure connection and the following error in my logs (edited slightly so it could be posted).
Nov 29, 2025 19:29:36.703 [22984541092664] ERROR - CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429,
errors
error code=“1003” message=“API rate limit exceeded” status=“429”
errors
Is there any way we could detect and/or fix this from our side or does it require you/others to take a look on your side?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Hi @OttoKerner Can you please check mine as well. I’ve similar issues in the past few days
can you check mine please im having remote problems
[mod edit: You are not affected by the stuck cert issue.]
I have reset the certs of all affected users in this thread so far.
Please stop and restart your servers.
Please refer to your original post above for a moderator edit. If you are not affected by this particular issue, I have added a note in there.
Maybe take a look at Important note about Chrome and Firefox Local Network Access
and do also compare the hosted web app with the local web app.
Do compare different Plex client types in general, in order to determine if the issue can be connected to a certain client type.
Ensure that you are not on an old server version between 1.41.7.x to 1.42.0.x
If there are still issues, please open your own forum thread.
yay that worked!! many thanks kind mods ![]()
Mine is having a connection problem with the new server IP, but it connects for a few seconds and then drops. My power went out a lot last week, so I had to change the system and redo everything, but it doesn’t connect remotely.
I’ve tried everything. I’m using Windows because Linux gave me a huge headache with partitions.

Hi, @OttoKerner would you mind checking my certificate as well, please?
Not to worry - it has been resolved.
Hello
It seems I got the same issue. No access from plew web or plewx app on my Mibox S where I can still use it on my mobile.
Can you check my cert please ?.
Don’t know which info you need to do so so feel free to ask ![]()
Thanks

Thanks having checked.
I’ll open a new thread as it is probably linked to any other cert issue. I got access to my server if I use http instead of https.
Thx
Can you check on my cert? I have no trouble connecting by IP but when using DNS on local network which shows the cert as secure I keep seeing this app.plex.tv is unable to connect. Been happening since last time I renewed the cert is seems.
You are not affected by the stuck cert issue.
If you are using a custom domain name, you need your own certs anyway.

Would you be so kind as to check mine, i have the same issue thanks
@dboyd95 your cert looks fine. looks like you are using docker but not using host networking which may be why remote access would have issues.
Hi, can you please check if I am affected by the same problem?
[mod edit: Your Plex account doesn’t even have a server connected to it. Therefore you can’t be affected.]
Sorry, I am late to this. Can you check if I`m affected?
[mod edit: This issue only affects servers which are at least 3 months old. Yours is brand new.]
I’ve been having the same (or similar) issues intermittently. Would you mind checking my certificate? Thank you!
