Plex Server doesn't show my libraries and I can't add others

My plex server, on Ubuntu, is not showing my medias anymore, and I don’t have the button to add them.
I replace a disk from my raid before that, but all files are present and available.
How can I fix that?

When using a manage account, I can access the libraries. It looks like it is the same bug as Can't view my plex server or content libraries via primary account but I can via a managed account

What happens if you completely reclaim it?

  1. stop plex
  2. Rename Preferences.xml → Preferences.xml.save
  3. start plex
  4. Claim it and give it a new name (temporarily)

After that’s done and you have confirmed control,
ADD the managed users
DO NOT join the “Plex Home” again.

How can I have more info on why claiming is failing?

I see my media library on the left menu, but as it is not claimed, I cannot see the files. So it is half a solution so far, but it’s progressing :slightly_smiling_face:

Hmmm, I found this in the logs. And it seems that I cannot reach plex.tv for some reasons, I’ll check that.

Curl error 7 is a hard blocked.

Plex.tv doesn’t hard block anyone except Hetzner

ah… gateway issue on my server :man_facepalming:
All good now.
That is weird though that this connection problem is not showing up in Plex UI.
