Plex won't display all my videos

  1. Are you running Plex Media Server on the Synology or on your Mac?

  2. Check and reset the file permissions on the Synology NAS.
    If you are running PMS on the Synology, make sure system internal user PlexMediaServer has at least read access to the media. See Synology FAQ #19 & 30.

  3. Verify the naming structure for your media. The new Plex Movie and Plex TV Series scanners/agents are more stringent than the legacy agents.
