I have been loving Plexamp - it is almost prefect for me and I am sure more features will come in due course.
I have a request. I have recently purchased an Android DAP and this now has Plexamp on it. I have all my music (that is an exact mirror of my Plex library) on a microsd card. It would be great if plexamp could be told to look at this when assessing what is downloaded or not. It would make for an almost perfect offline player and save me downloading everything again. Possibly a low priority but if you don’t ask you do not get.
Ta!
i do believe the devs made the download limit to 24hours so people aren’t just downloading their entire libraries to their phone or whatever… but to answer your request/question… this already does exist.
in the settings there is a Prefer Downloaded Media and setting it to Always should ensure local media is played.

Thanks good point. Yes I have that checked that box but Plexamp will only be aware of the media that is downloaded through the app. I think.
I was just trying to shortcut the process as all my library is on there anyway. I like to be “offline” as much as possible.
As it is, though, I find I quite enjoy just setting a load of radios to download for offline and this works well. If I want to on listen to my library I can just use the stock Sony app.
I just love Plexamp as it does almost everything I want in a player and looks great.
Wow. Just skimmed your “how to”. A beautiful thing with soul - like Plexamp. Whipping the badgers ass indeed!
