No luck for me, unfortunately 
plex was working fine and stopped working , have four TVs at monent one has stopped woking for plex, expect others to do the same,

If the latter, ChromeCast, Apple TV and PlayStation attached to a Samsung TV are a few options that spring to mind.

I have five tv’s and dont want to buy external plug in devices for each tv, plex worked fine and stopped working, contacted samsung and they infered plex was nothing to do with them,
What I need is an alternative ti Plex that works like plex did,
Though about Kodi but not sure,
Will look around as plex looks like its failing in more devices, which i saw in posts in the forum

Yes, I´m running the latest v1.18 server on a RasPi, Samsung client not logged into Plex.tv, but using a direct IP to connect to the server via my internal LAN.
After my samsung q65 stopped streaming remote, I found that in my tv’s settings, general->network->expert IPv6 was turned on. I turned it off, and viola’! streaming remotely again. It was so frustrating for a week, but I finally found it. I hope this helps you.
My samsung tv is basically brand new and all of a sudden plex won’t connect to the internet. My tv has Netflix, and Prime Video, and Hulu all connected to the network with no problems but plex is being so annoying. It was fine with the other tv that we had it plugged into before, and now I’m MAD.

I have the same issue. Plex Client will no longer connect to the PMS.
Old UE46F6500 from 2013.
The Samsung pre-Tizen Plex Application has been deprecated.
It was a gift from a developer - Orca.
It is no longer on the Samsung Smart Hub available apps.
I stupidly deleted the app. version 2.013 which worked fine last week
Believe I can now only access Plex Client by side loading.
Either run app from from USB Stick or…
Sync with Apps in reinstall.
3rd option: install the app via developer account & webserver.
