Player Version#: 4.0.1 (web)
Hello, I’m completely at a loss on this one. I had a few issues with my PMS server running out of storage so I decided to completely rebuild Plex (having first backed-up the database). I did the following:
Cleared all storage used by PMS on the Shield.
Went through the new server setup screens on the Shield without configuring the default libraries.
Moved Plex storage to user accessible storage (note same result if using the default internal system storage)
Added Live TV via HDHomerun in the UK for area SO23
EPG shows many channels with old dates and general weirdness:
I’ve tried different EPG source providers from the list but generally speaking, the results are similar: not one produces a correct current set of EPG data.
It’s the same if used with an iOS Plex player or Android TV based player (Shield and Amazon Fire TV).
I would be hugely grateful if you could help determine the problem. Note I upgraded my Shield to Android 8 last week. Not sure if this is part of the problem.
Many thanks.Plex Media Server Logs_2019-08-07_08-47-52.zip (1.5 MB)
Thanks @jester_tenet There is (may be) more to this, because if I remove all channels and leave just one (in my case BBC1), the EPG still shows two channels - confusingly 101, even though only 001 is enabled:
I’ve just tried playing the current programme, whilst it does not play, it removes the fake 101 channel from the guide. The current programme under recommended correctly shows the right channel:
Thank you very much @sa2000. The EPG does indeed look ok now. Next problem is no channels will display, and this is a completely new install. This is captured in the logs I uploaded above but this summarises what I am seeing:
UPDATE 09/08: It’s working now. Not sure if related but originally I had no libraries. This evening added a home video library, then later in the evening I tried Live TV and it’s working across all channels. Fingers crossed it will stay this way.
