Unable to claim my server (Synology NAS DS918+)

Here are my logs from my +920. Trying to fix this remote as server is 1400 miles away. Have tried everything suggested.

This solution by @FordGuy61 worked for me, but only works if on DSM7: Can't find my server after password reset - #9 by FordGuy61

My Server is now showing with my content

Thanks, ChuckPa! Log zipped log file is attached. Same problem as described by others. I removed the lines from the preferences.xml, tried logging in from 10. and 216. networks on port 32400. Not seeing my server or option to claim or connect anywhere.

This will only work while on local network?

Not sure if will work remotely only, I just followed the instructions by @FordGuy61 then signed in locally first. I then signed into PLEX Web.

You could try reinstalling PLEX and trying PLEX Web first to see if it manages to find and reclaim it?

I’d try this if i were home but hesitant to do this remotely unless @ChuckPa chimes in.

@FordGuy61 answered my question. Remote won’t work.

Also having issues claiming my Synology server again after password reset. Running DMS6. Not sure if anyone has seen this, but I get hit by the following message when I try to log in:

No soup for you!

The server you’re trying to access doesn’t want to let you in. Make sure you’re signed in as a user with access to this server.

I have tried uninstalling PMS and wiping all app data and am still unable to claim the server, which is odd to me.

FWIW, I almost always use Google for authentication with Plex, but reset my passwords / signed all devices out to play it safe. I’m suspicious that there might be an issue juggling email / OAuth login in my end? I’ve tried both independently in incognito windows, and no luck though.

EDIT: I was ultimately able to claim my server again after connecting to it via IP instead of a locally resolved domain name.
