I have the same problem here. For two or three days already.
When reinstalling the App on the Samsung TV, I can navigate through settings, but when I want to go to my collection it hangs. After turning off and on the TV it hangs directly.
I have a UE65HU8500 Samsung TV, My Plex server runs on an Apple MAC 27" i7 with 32GB mem and the storage is on a Synology DS 1813+ (Plex uses 25TB of storage).

I just updated the Plex app on my Samsung TV. After launching, I had to re-link the app to my server. Once linked successfully, the app starts to load and then freezes. No libraries load and I am unable to move the “cursor” within the app. Is anyone having this issue?[Plex]

Im having a strange issue whereby both Samsung TV’s in my house freeze as soon as I launch the app. It shows the menu down the left hand side (TV Shows/Movies/Photos/etc), and the right hand side where the content usually appears is just blank. I have had plex running on these TVs for 5+ years without any issue. This has just started happening over the last 24 hours.

Since yesterdsy 24/04/20 plex stopped working on my Samsung UA55JU6400 TV.
I believe this TV is roughly 5 years old now.
It opens up the app, but then when logged in, just freezes and cannot do anything on the home screen. I know plex works fine on the devices, laptop and phone it’s just the TV now all of a sudden. Anyone else experienced this issue before and know how to fix?
Will try uninstalll and reinstall app see what happens.

Why did this app work like a week ago and then after I change a transcode setting out now never gets me fully logged in? it just freezes at being opened.
