That’s just the public release of the beta which it wasn’t on there. It should be on the next beta 1.25.5
Is there something I can do now for a tag and my docker configuration to pull in the alpha?
Looks like it didn’t make this release?
Wow that’s crazy! I mean it’s been tested and it’s working so it doesn’t make any sense not to be on there. @sa2000 if possible is there any way that you can pm @KeanenW one for his Docker setup? Thank you
Does Plex know about the drop down menu to pair EPG with a channel is out of order when using XMLTV?
Yes and as far as I know that’s fixed. That’s on a different thread though.
It’s not fixed in the web app so dunno. Can you link the thread?
Respond on here, hopefully the alpha will be out soon! Anyone else seeing this post don’t reply on there if you’re not having an issue with xmltv guide being out of order as these are two separate issues.
To be clear I haven’t installed the latest version to test. I didn’t see anything on the release notes so I assumed it was not included!?
That was a 1.25.4 hotfix
1.25.5 is a separate baseline release and should be going beta very soon
Appears to have already been released to beta
and the 2 DVR fixes
- (EPG) Guide could show wrong VCN if lineup has duplicate channel ids. (#13207)
- (EPG) Lineup channels returned during DVR setup were not sorted. (#13188)
Thank you
4 posts were split to a new topic: DVR - Comcast Scotts Valley Fox Channels 3 and 702 - wrong HD indication on channel 3
I just installed 1.25.5.5492-12f6b8c83 February 1, 2022 Ubuntu (16.04+) / Debian (8+) - Intel/AMD 64-bit
I did not refresh the DVR/Tuner, nor change the lineup from what I had on the old working version.
Channels all tune and play as they ought to.
I did a systemctl restart plexmediaserver and tried a few channels afterward. All was fine.
Well, here’s a small issue. Could be a bigger issue for others though.
I went to my HDHR channel lineup and clicked detect channels. Just to ensure Comcast hadn’t changed anything. X’d channels I don’t want leaving only the few I do watch using the new channel numbers.
Went to Plex and rescanned. The channels I marked as favorites in the HDHR are found and I can enable all but one. The one is 1198 and there is no 1198 in the guide.
There are other channels available in the selections that are not enabled in the HDHR.
I’ll attach screenshots of what I see.
Also, though the HD channels are marked HD during channel matching, if I choose HD channels in the guide, none are shown.
Running in unRAID via Docker and I’m up and working. I only updated the guide data and added back my second HDHR (OTA) to my existing Prime and it’s working. Thanks so much!!!
Try a guide zip code closer to where that channel is actually broadcast from. This isn’t the same issue of channels not tuning at all, or to the wrong channel altogether, that’s what this thread is based on. This is more of an issue where the guide just doesn’t have the channel’s info you’re looking for. I had one or two channels that there was no guide for, as i live dead center between NYC and Philadelphia. I chose a direct NYC zip code, and then the guide lit up with what i wanted.
Same issue with UK SkyQ EPG, duplicate numbers with some radio stations preventing selection of the channel. The EPG is basically useless.
I agree, but since it is pulling channels that should be ignored, it worth reporting.
Plus, not all live where there is channel overlap.
I have one lineup. If it is not accurate, I’m out of luck.
However, the beta is working a treat as far as matching and tuning channels.
i’ve solved this with the current beta release by re adding the epg to the tuner channel that the update unchecked
worked like a charm again but it didn’t let me save the configuration with a couple of channel checked in
