Suspect a data ingestion issue - I flagged the 24th July schedule issue to our engineering team. I will add that it happened before as well on same channels
Interesting that ITV3+1 was also the same - this suggests it may have been late data from Gracenote and not being ingested in time and the fact that both were on same day of the week
You are correct. I have two tuners and I did find that one was mapped to channel 24.6. I have corrected that. However, Channel 2 in the EPG is still wrong. Channel 2 should be MeTV not WDMECD as the graphic I uploaded shows the incorrect mapping.
It has affiliate name of “MeTV”
“2 : WDMECD (WDMECD (WDME-CD) Affiliate: MeTV)”
Is this not the right schedule for the MeTV channel from your provider for your region?

If this is the wrong channel and as this is relating to a cable provider, please let me have a link to a web page giving the channel lineup and channel details on channel number 2 for your region - for the provider “Antietam Broadband”
WDMECD is DC Channel 9 (out of Washington DC). It is not MeTV. The TV listing that you give is correct for MeTV. But Channel 02 (MeTV) is tuning in DC 9.
This has been like 10 months and im missing 3 channels, the guide your using is ■■■■■■■ lazy. i know because i have 6 of the channels from same broadcast tower.
Is there any possibility of getting a Plex support agent to review the below issue? It consistently happens every couple of weeks - its an error message that makes no sense. I have no idea if the EPG issues we keep seeing is the cause.
Attached a new screen shot of farther down the list for those channels. They are also on the rabbitears.info list. In the leftmost “display channel” column. Thank you.
Isn’t the whole point of this to get them to update their database? This is ridiculous. Is there a way to force plex to use a local EPG? I can just set it up myself in five minutes rather than waiting 5+months for Gracenote
You could also see if something like xteve is something that interests you, you can forward your homerun to it and customize whatever you want before it then forwards it to plex as a virtual tuner:
What it tunes to is whatever the DVR Tuner mapped channel tunes to
You have DVR Tuner channel 2 mapped to EPG channel 2 MeTV
The link you provided Channels | Antietam Broadband shows that Antietam have a number of different lineups of channels
I have analyzed the view and I can see that the available lineup in the EPG “Antietam Broadband (399 channels)” appears to correspond to the Antitetam channels listed for the “Digital Converted Channel” list - which does not correspond to your setup
Looking at the analysis from your logs for what DVR Tuner channels you have mapped, the Tuner channel numbers you have mapped are similar to those in the Antietam list of channels available for "Digital “A” Built-in TV Tuner (QAM PSIP type) - could you confirm what TV package you have from Antietam
To get a list of the channels you are receiving through the DVRs, could you launch a browser and get the responses to these urls
copy each response into a text file and save with name to identify the DVR
Will need the name is of your Antietam TV package is so that when I refer to Graceote to request a new lineup, they would know what to ask Antietam for
I am attaching my analysis of the Antietam Broadband web page channels for the `Digital “A” Built-In TV Tuner QAM PSIP type" set - The HD / SD designation I added is based on the columns on the Channels | Antietam Broadband web page
Formula 1 Racing Belgium missing episodes. I see Practice 1, the Sprint Shootout, and the Race (still scheduled for Sunday morning, fortunately.) I don’t see the Qualifying episode. I did see more episodes listed in the LiveTV DVR Schedule a couple of days ago. If I’m reading the Formula1.com website correctly, there should have been Practice 1 and Qualifying on Friday, Sprint Shootout and Sprint on Saturday, and the Race on Sunday. It’s not obvious to me from the logs (attaching them,) what’s going on. Last weekend’s event in Hungary was also missing episodes at the last minute.
The local Cleveland over the air listings are missing several channels:
The lineup name (you’ll find the lineup name on the Live TV & DVR settings page under CHANNEL SOURCES ) - see screenshot below
Channel number and channel name-see jpgs
So these “TBA” airings show in the guide and get replaced later as we get closer to the date of the airing and the guide refreshes
The fact that the Plex for iOS app showed the correct airing and also a search for the movie on the Plex for Desktop mac app found the movie, indicates that the Plex Media Server EPG data was ok and up to date
So my thoughts are that the Plex for Desktop app Guide screen was displaying stale old EPG data and was not refreshing the screen with updated guide data from the Plex Media Server and was displaying stale data
Next time this happens where Plex for Desktop is wrong but Plex for iOS is correct, please get similar diagnostics - screenshots, Plex for Desktop logs and Plex Media Server logs - as well as the EPG database files (zip of the 3 files with names starting with “tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud-” )
and then try to select some other screen within the Plex for Desktop app and then go back to the Live TV guide screen - Does the screen now show the correct information ?
Also you can try shutting down the app and relaunching and see if this will correct the problem. You can collect logs and screenshtos again from the app and the server when the action taken to force a reload of the screen corrects the problem - but please note down the times to make it easier to look at the logs
For the 15th July issue where Plex for iOS and Plex Desktop app had missing data, I would need the EPG Database files to investigate - together with logs from ios app ./ desktop app and server logs
Further to my earlier reply, when was the Live TV Guide screen for 12th July first selected on the 8th ? We may find that this is working as designed and the reason that the Plex for iOS app was ok, was because the the guide screen was opened after the server updated the guide data but for the Plex Desktop app - may be you leave the screen on the live tv guide screen and until it is closed and re-opened again, it is using the EPG data it had already asked the server for before
I haven’t seen an update in my channels (Phoenix area, K30MM-D 31.1 - 31.7) (original request post from May 19th). Did gracenote come back and say they were actually going to add them? Specifically NOST and RETROTV are highly desirable for me.
