Further to my earlier response here - this will require extensive investigation as the issue is to do with how we handle affiliate stations and whilst this may give the best results for the USA (and may be some other countries), it is not optimum for other countries, I will need to check all countries that we support to see if we can make a change to how affiliates are handled for some countries.
I see from your screenshot that the tuner is showing channels 43.x but not 41.x - The Channelmaster transmitter info you linked suggests that you should also be receiving 41.x - some of the missing channels are available in the lineup for 83687 on the 41.x channels
Have you done a recent tuner channel scan? They are on RF channel 19
In Cincinnati OH our listings for WBQC 2.52 are no longer for COZI TV. They duplicate the listings for WBQC 25.3, which is This TV. Local Broadcast Listing for zip code 45039. Plex Version 4.116.1. Been messed up for about two weeks. Thanks!
Problem: Channels 4.6 and 4.7 missing from EPG
Lineup Name: Local Broadcast Listings (76 channels)
Channel # and name> 4.6 Corner and 4.7 1stAlrt
Country: USA
Postal Code: 62062
Region/market: St. Louis metro
Version of Plex Media Server: 1.32.7.7571
Guide data from ‘Foxtel Perth - 6020’ are missing the following channels:
Fox Sports Ultra HD 1 (591)
Fox Sports Ultra HD 2 (592)
Fox Sports Ultra HD 3 (593)
Fox Sports Ultra HD 4 (594)
Fox Sports Ultra HD 5 (595)
There used to be guide data for the singular 4K fox sports channel (508) - which there still is under ‘K01ANZ’ - but is not included in the Foxtel guide data currently (can see if in other apps that use the same provider, which now has the data for ch591)
Location Zip 07924 (between NYC and Philly).
OTA Guide is missing data for the following channels: Channel 49.1 WEDW
Station ID is CPTV - Connecticut PBS Station based in Stamford.
I’m also having problems with Pick/Sky Mix since it changed names. My HDHomeRun Connect picks up and identifies the channel correctly, but Plex won’t let me associate an EPG channel with the newly-renamed DVR channel 11: I can select the channel from the drop-down list in the Channel Matching window, but clicking on the Save button does nothing and the next time I open the window, the EPG channel’s blank again. Updating the guide does nothing because (I assume) the EPG doesn’t know what channel to download.
Going to try deleting and recreating the DVR (something that I seem to have to do much more frequently than I’d expect) to see if that fixes it.
I had to delete the DVR and recreate it after my router rebooted and the HDHomeRun got a new IP address. Tuning the new DVR pulled the right channels in, but Mix still has the Pick logo.
I have had the problem with clicking save doing nothing too, I would like to know what causes that so I can fix it if it happens again,
I’d like to see this remedied as well. I refreshed my tuner today and finally figured out where my missing channels went, but I have no way to watch them when Plex has no channel to assign to them. My HDHomeRun EPG has the data and so does TV guide. I may have to set up a tvguide scraper to xmltv, but it sure would be nice if the data was just there!
How about letting us add multiple zip codes to the EPG so we can pull data from two markets? Or just scan nearby markets automatically when channels don’t exist in the preferred zip code.
My HDHR tuner is picking up channels that don’t show up in Plex’s channel matcher, meanwhile Silicon Dust’s HDHR app has EPG data for all of them and with no fiddling on my part. Do whatever Silicon Dust is doing with their EPG listing.
Thank you. I don’t know how I missed that during original setup. Perhaps due to the first zip code being entered on another screen, my mind just ignored the idea that another location would exist.
There seems to be a bug of some sort though. After I added the second zip code and had all channels matched, once I saved it I ended up with only four channels in the final EPG (the second zip code). Back in the matching setup it seems none of the channels from the first zip code had a match. Looks like it only saved the second zip code’s EPG information.
I deleted the DVR and tried again with the same results.
Hmm… I haven’t needed to use this functionality for a while and it appears to have broken since then.
The problem may be related to this issue reported by another user. If so, there is some good news in that it has been reproduced by @sa2000 and will be reported to the devs .
I will catch up with this thread soon - but just wanted to add some feedback re the issues with multiple lineups/zip codes for a DVR Device - I am getting inconsistent outcomes and in some of the retries of the setup, I did actually get all channels show up after - channels form both lineups
Please add Over the Air channels 16.6 (Oxygen) and 16.7 (GetTV) to the EPG for USA postal code 49120. Currently using Hauppage DualTV USB tuner, Windows 10 Pro, Plex Media Server 1.32.7.7621.
