I see you have completed a feedback form. I will follow it up. We had similar issue for 4.1 NBC in Detroit but that problem went away when the fix for Unknown Airings was deployed.
@delpr1 the feedback form is from 20 September. Are there new channels that went into this state yesterday / today? and are the 4 channels listed on your feedback still in that state?
Hi, I have an issue with the EPG that i have created a new post about but i think you can help with it please?
Thanks
@sa2000, it has now affected a one additional channel now.
611- The Weather Channel
I canât say for sure if 611 didnât happen at the same time and I just didnât notice it. The original list is below that were affected.
780 - Disney
741 - TV Land
734 - IFC
699 - Freeform
The one difference from when I completed the form is that the channels as of Saturday, 9/28, I believe, have completely dropped off the EPG. When I had originally filled out the form, they EPG listed the channels, but the programming data had said âChannel No Longer Broadcastingâ.
Appreciate you looking into this.
These are the same channels that went missing yesterday for me as well!
This has now been corrected. Please do an EPG full refresh to pick the corrections
I can only investigate if I know the country/zip code/lineup name/ channel number and channel name / names and times of episodes - timezone I can work out from the zip code
If you have provided that on a feedback form, I can pick it up from there - otherwise please add that information to the forum thread you created
I grabbed the logs from the day this happened and i have posted them on the other post for you which should answer all your questions.
Thanks
Hi, I just updated my Plex Player to 7.22.0.12686 on my Nvidia Shield
I run the Plex Server Version 1.17.0.1766 on my Nvidia Shield as well.
The new player release is working well and seems to have some nice improvements.
The guide in âlive tv dvrâ seems to have a new appearance and looks great, however mine is now in 24 hour time format. Is there a setting somewhere for me to change it back to 12 hour format? Also the guide currently only allows me to go into the future 8 hours instead of several days/ weeks.
USA 50501 OTA
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
New station, DECADES 4.2, in Dallas/Ft Worth Market (75252) doesnât show up in guide data so I canât add/map the channel after a channel scan.
I experienced something like that when they were on Gracenote. As a work around you might be able to shift your zipcode slightly toward the city that channel is broadcasting from. See if that guide has the extra channel.
That zip is in the âsweet spotâ for the broadcast already. Besides, 4.1 is already in the list, same carrier frequency! THANKS!!!
Thank you for reporting this. It does not appear in the lineup
I have referred it to our provider to add to the âBroadcast TV Dallas-Ft. Worth OTA Broadcastâ lineup
Is this not a Shield setting ?
Device Preferences â Date & Time â Use 24-hour format
For that zip code there are two OTA lineups.
Broadcast TV Des Moines-Ames OTA Broadcast
Broadcast TV Ames OTA Broadcast
Which of these two have you selected ?
And could you try to do a manual refresh of the guide to see if it makes a difference.
In Plex Web on a Desktop PC, select the server and then Settings / Server / Live TV & DVR on the settings page for the DVR, click on the Refresh Guide, Wait until it finishes, then check the grid
Thanks. I can see that the channels are no longer visible in the lineup. I will look into this and see if it is an issue at our end or not
Thank you for your reply quick reply. I had originally posted the same question in another area of the forum, several days ago.
A team member, Daioio, got back today with a kind apology for taking so long, and also some answers. He says that the 12/24 hour issue will be corrected in an update later this week, and that the tv guide window is being worked as well and going to be addressed in future releases.
I appreciate your time and thoughts. Just so you know my Nvidia Shield was set for 12 hour time, and my OTA is set for Des Moines, although I believe the Ames OTA would be the same stations and channels. Refresh did not correct the issues.
Again, thank you!
When are we going to get the fix of Corrie programme, as it still keeps deleting previous episode? I have tried using non-TVDB as this use to prevent the programmes being delete, but since the changeover of EPG the workaround has now stopped working. So whatâs happening here - update please?
Any update on when the missing poster art will be fixed please?
A lot has changed with the EPG - so we would need to strat investigating the issue afresh with the new EPG data. Suggest starting a new forum topic with details of recordings and episodes and what happens - together with server logs after the issue arises.
@sa2000, my cable provider has been making some channel changes. I had submitted a form request after the 1st of September for the first round of changes. While many of the changes were updated in my EPG, some other channels were removed accidentally, I believe. I submitted another form request for these, but nothing has been fixed yet.
Last week, a few random channels already mentioned above randomly dropped off the EPG for me.
Today, the 2nd and last round of channel changes has finished. Iâd submit another form request, but Iâm a little worried if it will all be corrected at once.
