Bummer. Was hoping they were just still massaging guide data… I don’t see any on my guide coming up 1/1/19 anymore.
Does it use the correct date if the same episode airs on another day?
There is a show i can think of here which airs tonight, so would have a date of 25/06/2019 which is correct
However this same episode airs tomorrow morning, and should also have a date of 25/06/2019
Any update on the UK EPG bring sorted yet @sa2000? I did notice Now 80’s spring up then on the next time out has vanished.
I have started setting up Tvheadend, which has found all the channels bit upon trying to add the plugin, Plex fails to see it, can you give me info on this issue?
Also, I wouldn’t give up on Plex, we’re in the beta for God sake, so what do you expect? We signed up to help iron these issues out…
Ah well, oh Tvheadend sees the missing channels and plays them to, but it looks like I’ve got more than Tonyrefail and Wenvoe, so Plex is finding the strongest channels which is good to see
Keep it up, and I’ll be in touch with any issues I find once I’m back home from the hospital with my 6 month old daughter…
Dave
Thanks
I am doing a refresh of guide, but it takes a while to download it all, will check my guide when it finishes
How are people checking to see if the data is correct?
I have just picked 2 shows airing shortly
Pointless - BBC 1
The Chase - ITV
Both have incorrect Season/Episode numbers
Tonights Evening News on ITV now no longer shows as 1/1/19, It now shows it aired on 5th July
These are just randomly looking in the guide, there is just soo much wrong information
Just looking at the epg. Pointless and chase are showing actual numbers on mine. Look at emmerdale and hollyoaks. They show 1/1/19.
Do you see Pointless S19E84, should be S19E44
For The Chase do you see S11 E86, this should be S09 E122
Emmerdale & Hollyoaks i see the same 1/1/19
This is direct from the OTA guide

Yeah i see the same. At least tomorrow pointless is e85 so if you set it to record it would work. When it’s just the date the series record doesn’t work.
I agree, it makes series record work
I am just concerned about the overall accuracy of the guide, if randomly picking a couple of shows out and they are wrong
What is the rest of the data like (are Season/Episodes correct or not), without manually checking everything there is no way to know
UK DVR user here.
I can also see a lot of shows with “1/1/19” as the date, I’ve got Hollyoaks recording later tonight so i’ll see then if it names it correctly or not.
The more annoying problem is a lot of scheduled recordings showing as “No upcoming airings” when set to record “New Airings Only”, for example Eastenders is on at 7:30 but isn’t going to be recorded as it doesn’t have the “New” flag against it.
If it records hollyoaks tonight it won’t record tomorrow as it will think it’s a duplicate. Mine recorded last night but says no up coming for tonight
How do I report a channel guide missing?
the Channel in question is 16.2 - KONG-DT2
zip code 98133
Updated to latest Plex Server version, refreshed the Guide, all my scheduled recordings are still showing as no upcoming airings. I’m in the UK.
Actually it is now based on the video resolution for the airing. So we check if it being 720 or greater and mark it as HD if it is
Not trolling at all. I simply understand how software development works…
The lifetime pass was not that expensive in the grand scheme of things. You always have the choice of using a different platform if this one is causing you nothing but anguish. Most people spend more on a single hard disk than the lifetime subscription costs.
I pay monthly, so I can easily stop if I am no longer a fan of the service. It doesn’t seem to offer much for me other than offline sync, so I’ll probably kill it soon. Last thing I would want is to end up as emotionally vested as some of the people losing their minds on this forum.

Trolling - off topic and irrelevant discussion.
I doubt you can beat 45 years of running large distributed software development projects.
Please start another thread unless you’ve got something useful to add. We were instructed to install these releases for LiveTV/DVR.
Bless your heart.
My guide now appears to consistently show episode-specific summaries.
Now please fix the DVR start in progress bug and we’ll be golden.
