This friday night adult swim marathon (848) should be four hours of Superjail from 23:00 to 03:00. For some reason though 23:00 to 23:15 and 23:45 to 00:15 are listed as “Cartoon network programming”
I have passed this on to our provider on the existing open issue
The last feedback we had was that the station is late in passing updates to our provider
I don’t understand how they can get an update that is missing three 15 minute blocks. They got the rest of the marathon, so why are they ignoring three individual eps inside that marathon?
It’s simple. These are the SURPRISE! episodes.

The sequencing was fixed by our provider on the 13th August and this should have fed through within 48 hours or so after that
I can see that the next airing is “The Stranger” which is showing now as S7 E12
scheduled for 2 September 20:00 EDT on 11.1 WPIX (Affiliate CW)

The series “Inside Edition” appears to have got switched to being date based sequencing.
Thank you sa2000 for reaching out to me after so many months. I’m afraid that the guide data on Emby’s Gracenote Guide data is accurate.
I have totally given up on Plex’s DVR. It’s absolutely useless without proper guide data. I’m now recording my shows on Emby, because Emby has the original GraceNote guide data that Plex stupidly dumped. The whole Plex DVR backend really needs to be re-developed. It’ so so bad. “cant move media to destination”, “recording was not started because it was in the past”. Totally rubbish. Emby just does it. Jeez I wish Emby could remove commercials.
These omissions for the Friday night 28th August 23:00 and 23:45 CDT were fixed by our provider on the 25th August. I can see that the fix was in the 26th August ingestion data which was ingested and cache cleared by 12:00 GMT on the 26th - so any EPG refresh after that would have picked the correction
No update, still wrong and still requires manual intervention…
The correction was received in time. However, now, from Monday September 7 on the cartoon network schedule is 100% invalid placeholder junk.
Thanks for the feedback. I suspect that this is because there is a manual process that kicks in to adjust these.
I will mention this - but one example would be sufficient to add to my feedback to our provider

Sorry I missed it
This is an ingestion issue caused by the way the data is set from our provider. The original air dates are being set late and we would have had an original air date already defaulted by the time it is added by our provider and this default date is currently not being replaced. I have referred it to our EPG team
Did we not discuss this before ? Initially some shows are created as just generic shows and later on they get sequenced and updated - it only becomes an issue if this sequencing and update is not done in time before the airing
and as i’ve said multiple times your guide provider is very good at not getting it right until days into that new schedule. We’ll see what happens this time, but I’m not very confident it will be fixed by next monday.
Why is it so difficult for your provider to get this right and why is the onus on us to constantly check every show to see that it will be recorded correctly? It seems like we are paying for the “privilege” of being the QA department for your provider. I was hoping this was resolved but it looks like I will have to cancel my Plex Pass yet again…

There is no such thing as “The Venture Brothers” it is “The Venture Bros”, correspondingly the metadata for the eps labeled such is nonsense.

The length of each episode of the Daily Show on Comedy Central is not correct, causing only 2/3 of the show to be recorded.
This happened for all 3 episode the week of September 7 (30 minutes). All 4 episodes for the week of September 14 appear to be correct (45 minutes), but the 4 episodes for the week of September 21 appear to have the incorrect episode length again(30 minutes).
