Elan, get your head out of your ass AND LISTEN. We donāt want Lionsgate streamingā¦we donāt want HBO streamingā¦Amazon Streaming. WE WANT THE DAMN APP TO WORK THE WAY IT WAS INTENDED WHEN WE ALL BOUGHT INTO THIS. There is nothing worse than someone in charge of something that no matter how much it is made clear to him. What his customers want, he still goes of on stupid side projects no one cares about instead of working on the real product. I canāt understand how you can possible be in charge for this long and be so dense. FIX THE PRODUCTāS MAIN FEATURES AS IT WAS INTENDED AND FOR GET ALL THIS SIDE PROJECTS YOU ARE TRYING TO LINE YOUR POCKET WITH. If itās to hard, QUIT. Unbelievable already. This issues we are telling you about have been around for HALF A DECADEā¦NOT OVERNIGHT! You have become incompetent.
P.S. if you think that was to harsh, saying it nicely hasnāt gotten you to understand the message for the past God knows how many years. Time to sit back and be honest with yourself if you are actually doing a good jobā¦because trust meā¦you donāt want to see what a survey on this forum would suggest.
I have referred this to our provider. There are repeats on 4seven and the two parts of Murder in the Woods appear as one. Interesting that the repeat on channel 4 for 15 January is actually presented as one episode by the channel 4 guide but duration of the two parts.
FWIW good old Digiguide had both episodes listed as s09e01, however the blurb in the description starts āpart two of twoā
Thereās clearly a LONG way to go with this guide and the DVR feature in general.
Plus some work needs to be done on being able to force something to record. There is far too much manual intervention required to make this work, as I said it was only by ensuring I watched and deleted the first part was I able to schedule the recording of the second part.
Constant checking that your recordings are scheduled is required and it has become a chore. Freezing and crashing whilst skipping through a programme is common place on my Shield TV, or sitting with the spinning circle for an age at other times on other platforms.
Thereās also the nightmare of trying to watch something while the recording is in progress, something that is as simple as viewing an already recorded programme on any other DVR platform you would care to mention.
Also I forgot to start recording something and while out and about yesterday realised that you cannot start recording a programme that is already in progress from the Android app - it kept just tuning into the channel - unless I am missing something there?
On the plus side, the issue I flagged up TWO MONTHS AGO about the STV HD late night schedule appears to have been fixed.
Although again I would remind you, your co-founder and everyone else - I paid for this product for this very feature.
Nevertheless lineups would not be changed without having precise information on what changes should be made - even if the channels are known. I doubt if it would be the complete set of channels that changed for Freeview.
You can see from my post that I did not ignore the information you provided
and will pass the channel changes that you mentioned.
In this case there are no provider errors. If Virgin Media made changes and did not announce those changes or make the information available, then it would not be a provider error if these changes are not reflected in the lineups for Virgin Media cable.
I would expect our provider to verify any request for changes to channels and channel numbers that we would refer to them, The information you provided is probably a subset of what changes that need to happen.
There is no joke here. Channel information for cable services would need to come from the cable companies. Our provider cannot dream up channel numbers and your list of changes is probably not all that need to change - that info has to come from Virgin
Channel 5 HD is now on 105 (Channel 5 SD now on 154)
Paramount HD is now on 150 (previously was on 187)
and obviously all the 5Spike channels have been removed.
the channel guide PDF hasnāt been updated yet with the channel moves.
Iāve been banging my head against a wall for the past three months with this⦠Iām one of those UK Satellite users who supposedly ādont existā compared to freeview users.
I have a TVH proxy which feeds a hybrid of Satellite and FV programming to the Plex DVR - In the same channel numbering and order as Sky. (ie. BBC1 HD - 101, Radio 1 - 3001)
Regional guide. Awful. Missing more channels that I care to count (>40), mappings completely wrong and I have to cope with a barrage of 101 BBC 1 & 101-1 Radio1 conflicts in the guide.
I cant see a way to remap the numbers Plex uses to define the guide layout so Iām forced to either roll my own guide. Or bin DVR, my plex pass and go back to using TvH.
Does anybody have any suggestions of other XMLTV guides which I could use in place of this disaster that this guide is.
Iām working on a script to re-map the XMLTV.co.uk guide into the sky format for use. But if anybody has already done something similar then itād save me the work
Neighbours episode listings have gone awry again. Fine for the first few episode of 2020 but then switched series numbers, changed broadcast date and then stopped giving episode numbersā¦
I havenāt touched the scheduled recording and it did record them all in sequence but after it being fixed previously I donāt quite understand why itās gone off again!
Labelled as s01e01 - this was on LAST Wed 8th Jan - this is s01e02 - same for next Wed 22nd, episoide is labelled as s01e02 instead of s01e03.
However, in my DVR SCHEDULE it is labelled as s01e01 - Episode 2. The original s01e01 as recorded last week appears in my library but not the DVR SCHEDULE any more.
