Synology Plex Media Server Issues

Yesterday with the plex outage, my plex server on Synology stopped running. When plex came back up, my Synology app stayed off. I had to manually start it last night. A buddies plex server running on a Synology also did the same thing.

Please manually go to the Plex share and make a ZIP of the Logs directory.

hi, sorry…am I to understand there was a Plex outage? I just found the other day that I am not able to connect to my media files and get a message " Theater is currently unavailable;

Verify you have a network connection and that the server is online, or see our troubleshooting tips for further assistance."

I’m not quite sure what to do and any help would be appreciated!

and to be honest I am not sure how to go to the “Plex share” that you suggested to Todd-Avery…

This is from a Windows machine.

You’re in the Synology (NAS) category. I unfortunately can’t help you.
I have no Windows VMs nor do I actually know Windows.

Please create a fresh thread, with “Server-Windows” tag in “Desktops & Computers” category then make your Opening Post there with your logs.
