For the latter this is their only release. Their band name shows up in the Tidal search in Plex but no album or other info listed
4 days after release the following album is not working :
Aorlhac - Pierres Brûlées
In Plex this album shows up under the “singles” section and is completely blank. Confirmed on a device with a fresh Plexamp install so it’s not a cache issue.
Thanks for keeping this thread going with more examples. Bottom line, I think patience is the key.
Please check out my spreadsheet (link here), which covers about 100 titles that released in the US between Apr2021 & July2021. It seems every weekend, more Tidal songs from this list become available in Plex. In my documented experience for this batch of songs, it takes about 74 days, on average, for a newly released song to appear on Plex after street date. (And I’m still awaiting some tracks released 158 days ago).
It’s now very typical for an album or song to take over 3 months to show up in Plex. Again, in my personal experience, some albums show up on day 1, but the majority of the tracks I want to add are not available immediately.
So until the Plex ninjas dig into it, we need to adjust our expectations to match the delayed arrivals.
@JavierVera : did your albums listed on your Jul 15 post ever show up (Argentina)?
@3s83 : did your original post singles ever show up from the May20 post, or the singles you mentioned on Aug 10 (Netherlands)?

Of the singles I mentioned on May 20, both ultimately appeared.
There still remains a gap between Tidal and the Tidal integration in Plex. For instance, I have a “new” playlist. 23 songs are on it in Tidal:
However, just 20 appear in Tidal in Plex:
I also noticed that for instance Guns n’ Roses lists many albums in the Tidal overview in Plex which are not available via Tidal. Also, they are not playable in Plex (error s1001).

I am not an expert, but it seems that the database feed between Tidal and Tidal in Plex is out of sync.
I have another issue with Tidal that may also be affecting the issue shown above. As I’ve explained in “Tidal integration picking up wrong album data”, an album I can view on Tidal is incorrectly identified as by an unrelated artist when viewed in Plex. It has the wrong narrative text and omits five tracks as a consequence. There is no way to “Fix match” like there is with library files, so it’s impossible to play the whole album via Plex.

Same issue with plexamp on ios, and plex app.

I can confirm that today’s releases (Coldplay, FINNEAS and more) do not appear in Plex but play fine on Tidal. I tried creating a playlist with a number of new tracks and albums, and the playlist is displayed in Plex (complete with album art) but when selected is empty.
Update: An hour later (15:45 UTC) the Coldplay album “Music of the Spheres” now shows up in Plex via “Artists” in “My Tidal”, but I am unable to play it either locally or via Sonos casting. Sonos is able to play it fine direct from Tidal. There is no error message in the UI, each track just sits in “Playing” state but stuck at 0:00, and no instruction reaches Sonos to ask it to connect to music.streaming.plex.tv. Other Tidal music plays fine via Plex.
Update: Coldplay album is finally playable late on Sunday night, so 3 days after release.
Hey everyone just jumping in to give a progress update on where we’re at here. We recently ran an improved ingestion process to grab missing items and get them in our catalog. The process finished last night and we’ve internally seen all the missing items that we’ve been tracking show up in Plex Music.
Additionally we’re working to improve the process further to help clean up older items that are no longer available in Tidal that are still hanging around in Plex Music. I don’t have an eta on when this portion of the process will be complete and running in production but it should be Soon ™️

Thanks for the follow up. Not all of the songs I’ve been tracking are visible in Plex yet, but a lot of progress has been made. Can I share my results?
I can tell there was a big push the last few days: 13 releases have been made available in Plex (covering release dates 4/23/21 to 7/23/21). Most were singles, and some were EPs. There were a TON more made available too (from tracks more recently released).
Another big push seems to have happened around 9/11/21 where 28 releases were made available in Plex (covering dates 4/2 to 7/23).
Out of the original 100 releases I was tracking with release dates before 7/31, there are still 5 titles that are still unavailable. i.e. this one from July23,2021
My total list (covering those & more recently-released titles) still has 106 tracks unavailable in Plex. Hopefully these will roll out overnight.

The good news: it appears ALL of the tracks I’ve been watching for, released prior to last weekend, have been made available in Plex. This is a major victory & I wanted to say thanks again.
The bad news: there’s still a few tracks released on Friday 10/22 that are not yet available in Plex (as of today, Tues 10/26). I presumed the ingestion routine would capture these over the weekend, but no luck yet. I’ll keep checking back, but maybe we can’t call this thread completely solved?

I can confirm that all the songs that have been missing for the past months, are now available on Plex.
I can also confirm that singles that were released last Friday (Oct. 22nd), and are available on Tidal, still are not available on Plex.

I think the ingestion process from Tidal to Plex is broken again. Since @vanstinator’s update on Oct21, the process has improved a ton, but I’m now missing about 40 tracks in Plex that have been released since Nov 28.
I add a bunch of songs each week from Tidal to Plex. I’ve listed the last date tracks became available in Plex for each release date (for my small sample). Some songs become available immediately, others show up later.

I checked as well, I can’t add the albums @yortdog mentioned as well… I indeed had the impression that lately it went better. Hopefully the development team can resolve this soon and permanent. Any update on that @vanstinator ?

Keeping the thread alive & in front of the Plex problem solvers, here are a few more albums that are available on Tidal, but can’t be seen in Plex or added to my Plex library:

In this 3rd case above, track #6 (of 10 songs) can be seen in Plex, but that’s all:
The other highlight is looking at the “New Arrivals” playlist in Tidal, showing 63 tracks, but only 51 tracks appear at the same playlist while looking through the Plex web browser. Right off the bat, track #3 is missing…

Indeed, the issue still persists. If I just compare the “new arrivials” list in Tidal, 11 out of 70 songs are not available via the Tidal integration in Plex:

Not sure, if it is related, but now also old EPs, which can be played in Tidal are now showing up anymore in Plex. Example from 2020:

I came back to Tidal after a while and I see that the albums that didn’t show up on plex now show up, Good!
But new releases from mid-January to today doesn’t appear in Plex so I guess it’s happening again.
